HRIC Pow Wow

Pow Wow is a special gathering to celebrate Indigenous culture. There is dancing, drumming, singing, and sharing of traditions. Bringing people together in a good way and honors our culture and community.

HRIC Annual Picnic
Date: August 6th
Location: Binbrook Conservation Area
Our Annual Picnic is a fun day for families and community members. There are games, food, and time to relax together. It helps build strong relationships and creates happy memories. Transportation is provided from HRIC. More details will be provided as we get closer to the event.

The Harvest Dinner is a time to give thanks as we gather to share a meal and appreciate the land and what it provides. It is about gratitude, sharing, and community.

This event is a time to listen, learn, and remember. Survivors of Residential Schools share their stories. We come together to honor them, support healing, and celebrate Indigenous strength and culture.

We gather to celebrate the winter season and the change it brings. This event is about being together, sharing food, and finding warmth in community during these cold days. It honors the season and the cycles of the year.
